Sesklo 1.0.11: a time clock that works anywhere, discounts, signatures at payment, and a map of your day
Sesklo 1.0.11 is rolling out on the App Store and Google Play now, and the matching update to sesklo.com is already live. Most of this release came from reading what service providers say about the tools they use today, and fixing those things in Sesklo.
For service providers — the mobile app and the website
- Discounts. Give a discount as a dollar amount or a percent on a quote, an invoice or a payment request. It shows as its own line, the customer sees the price after it, tax is figured on the discounted price, and a discount on an accepted quote carries over to its invoices.
- Ask the customer to sign when they pay. Turn it on for every invoice or just one. The customer types or draws a signature confirming the work was done, then pays, and the signature prints on the invoice PDF. Autopay and payments you record yourself are never held up.
- Route view. On the Schedule, Route shows one person's stops for the day in order on a map, with the driving line, and opens directions to the next stop in Apple Maps or Google Maps.
- One Notifications page. Settings → Notifications is now the one place for every alert. For each kind — Messages, Sales, My jobs and schedule, and for owners and admins Business operations and Payments — choose Sound, Silent or Off on your phone, and turn its emails and texts on or off. Each row says exactly where it goes. Quiet hours make phone alerts silent instead of dropping them, and you choose what still rings while you're on call.
- Alerts only about your jobs. On a team, crew members hear about the jobs they're on, and owners and admins can choose the whole business or only their own jobs. When you invite someone, pick Field, Sales or Office as their starting setup.
- Sesklo answers payment disputes for you. If a customer disputes a payment with their bank, Sesklo sends the bank the job's signed paperwork, work logs, hours, photos, messages and receipt, and tells you right away. If the bank sides with the customer, the payment is taken back with Stripe's $15.00 dispute fee and its $15.00 fee for answering the bank.
- Failed payments tell you. If your Sesklo plan payment fails, or a customer's bank payment comes back, you get a notification and an email.
For service providers — the mobile app
- A time clock that works anywhere. Clock taps save on your phone first, so they work with no signal and no GPS and sync later with the time you actually tapped. Start a break or end your day from the lock screen, from Siri on iPhone, or from the Quick Settings tile on Android. Forgot to tap? "It happened earlier" fixes it, and on a team an owner or admin approves any time it adds.
- Job photos are never lost. Photos for work logs, checklists, milestones, documents and project chat wait on your phone and upload in the background when you have signal. A banner shows what's still waiting.
- Sign in person. When you mark a job complete, hand your phone to the customer to sign the completion sign-off on the spot, typed or drawn.
For homeowners
- Discounts are easy to see. When a provider gives you a discount, the quote and the invoice show the price after it, with the discount on its own line.
- Quotes and messages you haven't seen. If a new quote or a message from your provider is still unread an hour later, Sesklo sends you one email about it. You can turn this off under Settings.
- Check a provider's license. sesklo.com/check-a-contractor-license links to the official license lookup for every state and DC.
For everyone
- Pinch to zoom on any photo in the app, and double-tap to zoom back out.
- Two-factor sign-in asks for the code on its own step, and the code goes in by itself once you type the sixth digit.
- New passwords show what's needed — at least 8 characters, and both entries match — as you type.
- Updated Terms. If Sesklo ever suspends or closes an account, it will always tell that person why, in writing, and how to ask for a review. The Terms are dated November 1, 2026.
- Faster, steadier Home Checkup camera on iPhone, and fixes throughout.
